Racino coming to Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton 'Racino' Planning Permission

At the time of the Company's preliminary results in April 2003, Arena Leisure announced an agreement with Gala Casinos to open the UK's first 'Racino' at Wolverhampton Racecourse and to extend the existing on-site hotel.  This agreement was subject to achieving all necessary planning consents and licences.

Arena Leisure is pleased to announce that Wolverhampton City Council's Planning Committee yesterday gave its full support to the planning application for this development.  The application will now be considered by the Government Office before final approval can be achieved.
